Nuno Espirito Santo arrived at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2017 with a dream.
As it transpired, the reality of his first season at the Molineux helm turned out to be even more sensational than that dream.
A memorable campaign packed with some of the most attractive football the Championship has ever seen, the league title won with 99 points, and scenes of celebrations in the City of Wolverhampton that will truly never be forgotten.
They Wore The Shirt – The Pack is Back, is a no-holds-barred look back at that historic season, through the eyes of those who lived and breathed it for ten magical months.
The brainchild of lifelong Wolves fan Steve Plant, The Pack is Back is the follow-up to the bestselling original They Wore The Shirt publication which told the story of the club’s iconic kits through history.
Fans’ memories and anecdotes of so many special days are dove-tailed with accounts from past and present players, other familiar faces, and the club’s hierarchy.
With a volume and variety of contributions from so many different sources, The Pack Is Back is a must-have souvenir of a season that will go down in Molineux folklore.
And, as with the first edition, all proceeds from the sales will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The second and final photo shoot was held at Compton training ground yesterday and was supported by several of the first team squad.
A dozen more shirts were photographed for the book and several medals plus some surprise shots which have turned out very well indeed.
You will be hearing more about those in the coming weeks and look out for the Wolves twitter feed for an excellent competition with a unique prize !
The first photo shoot took place on the 8th January 2016 in the stunning Wolves museum. The club had granted us permission to remove some of the older shirts from their display cases to be photographed on the mannequin.
I would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Wolverhampton Wanderers FC for all their help and cooperation with this project, without which it quite simply could not have been done.
Chief photographer Ed Bagnall did a fantastic job shooting over 100 shirts on the day with his legendary dad Dave assisting and taking the publicity shots.
There were too many people present and all playing their part to mention individually,a real team effort making it a very successful day !
Co author David Instone was present throughout the shoot and posted this excellent report on the Wolves Heroes website. http://www.wolvesheroes.com/2016/01/09/truly-iconic/
